Worker Profiles
Each worker has a profile page that shows their full history and current status on the platform. Profiles serve as the single source of truth for each person on your team.
Profile sections
Overview
Personal details, contact number, Emirates ID, field role, and current status. Also shows the worker’s performance summary: tasks completed this month, on-time rate, and attendance rate.
Assigned Properties
All properties this worker is currently linked to. Tasks at a property can only be assigned to workers who appear on this list. Use this tab to quickly add or remove property access.
Task History
Every task ever assigned to this worker — filterable by date range, status, and property. Use this to verify completion records, investigate disputes, or generate individual performance reports.
Attendance
All check-in and check-out records for this worker across every venue. Each entry shows venue, timestamp, and GPS coordinates (if captured). Supervisors can add manual entries here when QR scanning was not possible.
Editing a profile
Admins and Provider Managers can edit worker profiles. Click Edit on the profile page to update any field. Changes are logged in the platform audit trail.
Linking to a user account
A worker profile and a user account are separate records. A worker profile stores employment and operational data. A user account is required for the person to log in to the HelpYard mobile interface.
When to link: Link a user account when the worker needs to:
- See their own task list and complete tasks on a mobile device
- Mark checklist items and upload photos
- Scan QR codes for check-in
When not to link: If you are tracking a worker’s records (attendance, documents) but they do not use the mobile interface themselves — for example, if a supervisor handles check-in for a team — you do not need to create a login.
To link a profile to a user account:
- Open the worker profile
- Click Edit → Link User Account
- Search for an existing user by email, or create a new one
Generating a QR code
Each worker can have a personal QR code used for site check-in. This is an alternative to scanning the venue QR code and is useful when a worker’s identity needs to be confirmed separately from the location.
To generate:
- Go to the worker’s profile
- Click Generate QR Code
- Print or share the QR image
The QR code is unique per worker and tied to their profile ID. Regenerating the code invalidates the previous one.
