Managing Workers

The Workforce section is where you manage all field workers — the people who carry out cleaning tasks on the ground. Workers are linked to specific properties, so task assignment is always accurate.

Add a worker

  1. Go to Workforce in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Worker
  3. Fill in:
    • First and last name
    • Emirates ID (required for UAE compliance — used for identity verification and regulatory reporting)
    • Field role / job title (e.g. Cleaner, Supervisor, Technician)
    • Assigned properties
    • Contact number
    • Gender (optional — required for certain client sites)
  4. Click Save

The worker record is created immediately. If you also want them to log in to the mobile interface, you will need to link a user account (see Worker Profiles).

Worker status

StatusMeaning
ActiveAvailable for task assignment
On LeaveTemporarily unavailable — excluded from scheduling suggestions
SuspendedAccount suspended, cannot log in to the mobile interface
InactiveNo longer with the company, preserved in historical records

To change a worker’s status, open their profile and click Actions → Change Status.

Editing a worker

Open the worker from the Workforce list and click Edit. You can update any field including assigned properties. All changes are logged in the audit trail.

Assigning workers to properties

A worker can be assigned to multiple properties. To update assignments:

  1. Open the worker’s profile
  2. Click Edit
  3. Use the Assigned Properties field to add or remove properties
  4. Save

What Emirates ID is used for

Emirates ID is stored for UAE compliance purposes — specifically for workforce audits, site access records, and client requirements where contractors must provide verified worker lists. It is not displayed publicly and is only accessible to admin users.

Bulk import

To add many workers at once, use the CSV import tool under Admin → Bulk Import. Download the template, fill it in, and upload. See Bulk Import for column details and error handling.
