Common Issues
Login issues
Problem: I did not receive a login link email.
- Check your spam / junk folder
- Add
noreply@helpyard.aeto your safe senders list - Ensure you are using the correct email address (the one your account was created with)
- Wait 1 minute and try requesting a new link
- See Login Problems for a full diagnosis guide
Problem: My login link says “expired”.
- Links expire after 10 minutes. Click Request new link on the login page and use the new email immediately.
Problem: I keep getting redirected back to the login page after clicking the link.
- Ensure cookies are enabled for
app.helpyard.ae - Try in a private / incognito window
- Clear your browser cache and cookies for this site
- If on a corporate network, a firewall may be blocking the auth callback — contact your IT team
Tasks
Problem: A task is stuck as “Dispatched” and the worker says they never received it.
- Verify the worker’s email is correct under Workforce → [Worker] → Profile
- Resend the notification from Task → Actions → Resend Notification
- Check that the worker has browser notifications enabled for
app.helpyard.ae
Problem: I cannot assign a worker to a task.
- The worker must be assigned to the same property as the task
- Check under Workforce → [Worker] → Edit → Assigned Properties
- Add the property to the worker’s profile, then retry creating the task
Problem: A worker cannot start a task — the QR scan is failing.
- Confirm the venue QR code is posted at the location and not damaged
- If the QR code is missing, a supervisor can manually check in the worker from Workforce → [Worker] → Attendance → Add Manual Entry
- Alternatively, disable QR check-in temporarily under Admin → Settings → Feature Flags
Data
Problem: A property is not appearing in the dropdown when creating a task.
- The property may be archived. Go to Properties → Show Archived to restore it.
- The property may belong to a different organisation. Check under Admin → Organisations → [Org] → Properties.
Problem: A worker is not appearing in the assignee dropdown for a task.
- The worker must be linked to the task’s property. Open the worker’s profile, click Edit, and add the property to Assigned Properties.
- The worker’s status may be Suspended or Inactive — check under Workforce → [Worker] → Profile.
Problem: The client cannot see their properties in the portal.
- Confirm the Client Portal feature flag is enabled under Admin → Settings → Feature Flags
- Confirm the client user is linked to the correct client organisation
- Confirm the properties are linked to that organisation (check Properties → [Property] → Edit → Client)
